Our first responsibility is to our neighbors in crisis: families facing hunger and housing loss, young people whose futures depend on someone showing up, and anyone who asks us for help. We provide food, shelter, advocacy, and life essentials to individuals and families across northern New Jersey. In every encounter, we serve with love and intention, seeking to restore and protect human dignity.
Joi’s Angels is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, EIN 81-1604996. We hold a Platinum Seal of Transparency from Candid, placing us among the most accountable nonprofits in the country.

Our work takes workers, funding, and people who know how to build things that last.
What started by Mark and Joi and has been sustained by a variety of generous people and groups over the years, now needs more investment than ever as non-profits face budget cuts nationwide and increasing need.
We have faith that angels of all kinds can make miracles happen!
You don’t need experience or a set schedule. Volunteers sort and pack at the pantry, help the Angel Crew move furniture and set up for giveaways. Some come every month, some come once.
About 300 people volunteer with us each year. If you have a skill we could use, from bookkeeping to photography, translation to driving, we would be grateful to have your support.
