We have never turned anyone away for lack of money. We would like to keep it that way.
The need in Essex, Hudson, Morris, and Union Counties has grown faster than our capacity to meet it. Pantry lines are longer and more families need a place to stay. Every dollar given here goes directly into food, furniture, essentials, and opportunities for the people who need it most.

A signature program end to end, for a full year, named, funded, and reported on as a genuine partnership.
You don’t need experience or a set schedule. Volunteers sort and pack at the pantry, help the Angel Crew move furniture, and set up for giveaways. Some come every month, some come once.
About 300 people volunteer with us each year. If you have a skill we could use, from bookkeeping to photography, translation to driving, we would be grateful to have your support.
